Mount Abu the only hill station in Rajasthan is a pleasant retreat between wooded hills covered with coniferous trees and flowering bushes. It is located on the southern tip of the Aravallis, and contains superb Dilwara Jain Temples dating back to 11th to 13th century.

The town has a famous museum and art gallery located at the Raj Bhawan including a range of excavations dating back to 8th to 12th century.
